Geologiya was established in accordance with No. 125 resolution of
January 15, 1981, of the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
The promoters of the journal are the Presidium of the Far East Branch,
Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Tectonics and
Geophysics, FEB RAS.
